"Knowing that I was going on a 20-day trip to China and Tibet, I was looking for a backpack that I'd be able to use instead of carrying a handbag. I had no idea how well it was constructed or how long it would hold up. All I knew was it was a great looking bag.
"I must tell you, I put that backpack through very hard use, in pouring rain, on and off my back hundreds of times over several weeks and it still looks brand new. No wear and tear on it at all!!
"The day we climbed to the top of the Potala Palace in Lhasa, Tibet, it was pouring down rain. We had to show our passport to enter, so I wrapped it in plastic just to make sure the rain wouldn't seep through and get it wet. Not only is it a beautiful bag, it's also waterproof!!
