Inspirations; Faces of Courage

inspiration.jpg

These are just a few of the faces of inspiration. They are women… people, like you and I. They have lost family members, jobs and the only homes they ever knew. And yet they smile and thank God for the opportunity to rebuild their lives by sewing handbags for the wonderful people (like you) that want to buy them. To me, they define courage and inspiration.

We’ve added some new pages to the Laga site so you can meet more of them.

Meet Thara Miranda;
Thara was born deaf and blind, and lost her family in the tsunami. Determined not to ”depend on anyone” for the rest of her life, she is learning to make handmade handbags, and sent her story to share with you.

New Photo Gallery
We’ve added a new gallery that will grow as the women of Indonesia send us more photos to share with you. They are heartbreaking and heartwarming all at the same time.  I know they’ll touch your heart, too.

Enjoy the updates… and please remember to share our site with a friend. As always, all of us at Laga Handbags thank you for your support.
