It has been quite an adventure and journey to shift from day trading full-time from 1997 to being tsunami Relief Coordinator starting January 2, 2005 to present.
It has taken me back to Indonesia 19 times since then, just completed my 19th trip August 2007, with plans to go Feb/March 2008, adding China to the trip.
I hope to find nylon material for our beautiful handcrafted Laga bags so that the factories do not run out of stock of popular colors.
It will be quite a challenge to find the right suppliers, but I am hoping to find reliable contacts via my friends in Indonesia and elsewhere.
We also have a family member from the Chinese part, my grandmother was full Chinese, who is some kind of general somewhere in China. Hope I can meet this person, that would be fantastic.
Anyone out there have great contacts in China, Taiwan or other parts of the world that has nylon material available, please feel free to contact me.
Until then, wishing you all an early very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2008!
