Hidup ("Live") Handbag features four exterior pockets, one on each end, and a small pocket on each side. Its thick and sturdy handles are fully embroidered all the way around.

The interior is comprised of two separate large zippered compartments, one of which holds a built-in cell phone pouch and the other, a zippered pocket. Hidup is one of our most popular styles and has a large capacity.

Exquisitely embroidered on all sides, including the bottom, needs to be seen up close and personal to be fully appreciated. Hidup comes complete with metal "feet" on the bottom for stability, making this one of our most highly functional Womens handbags without compromising style.

All embroidered bags are sewn with cotton thread on nylon-polyester fabric with a water-resistant 1/16" polyurethane backing.

The lining inside our cosmetic bag and coin purse is made of nylon.

Each Handbag Is Unique
Laga embroidered handbags, travel bags and accessories are sewn on a non-electric treadle machine. There is no template or stencil used; all the designs are committed to memory and hand-guided, free motion, an artform with traditional designs that are indigenous to Aceh.

We are so proud to be involved in this project, which not only helps rebuild the Aceh community but, for the first time in history, also provides an avenue to share their amazing talent with the rest of the world.
