On December 26, 2004, one of the deadliest natural disasters in history struck off the western coast of Sumatra.
The earthquake and subsequent tsunamis reportedly killed over 285,000 people around the rim of the Indian Ocean.
Banda Aceh was the closest major city to the earthquake's epicentre.
There are simply no words to describe the devastation.
The Acehnese people are still living in the aftermath of the tsunami, working desperately to rebuild their lives.
We at Laga are committed to helping them in their recovery. Every Laga bag sold helps bring them one step closer to home.
